The From Grasshopper to Giant Women’s Discipleship Collective

A journey of faith, sisterhood, reflection, and transformation.

Rise Together is a structured women’s discipleship experience created to provide women with a safe space to step out of the shadows of the grasshopper and begin seeing themselves through the truth of God’s Word.

Built upon the transformational themes of From Grasshopper to Giant: A Season of Elevation, Rise Together moves beyond simply reading about change. Women gather in community to examine the beliefs, experiences, fears, and patterns that may have caused them to see themselves as smaller than God ever intended and begin the intentional work of walking confidently in who He has called them to be.

What Women Can Expect

The Rise Together experience includes five structured group lessons designed to encourage meaningful biblical study, honest conversation, personal reflection, and spiritual growth.

Throughout the five sessions, participants engage with instructional and reflective resources including graphic organizers, guided discussion questions, personal assessment inventories, reflection activities, and other tools designed to move the lessons from conversation into personal application.

This is not a space for women to simply listen.

It is a space to reflect, participate, examine, share, grow, and rise together.

The Journey Doesn’t End After Five Sessions

Transformation takes time.

At the conclusion of the five facilitated group sessions, participants receive six full extension lessons that allow them to continue the journey independently. These lessons provide additional opportunities for biblical study, reflection, personal application, and continued spiritual growth long after the formal group experience has ended.

The goal is not simply to complete a study.

The goal is transformation.

The Participant’s Workbook

Each woman works from her own Rise Together Participant’s Workbook, created specifically to accompany the group experience.

The workbook becomes her personal place to engage with the lessons, complete activities and assessments, record reflections, respond to discussion prompts, and document what God is revealing to her throughout the journey.

It is designed to become more than a workbook—it becomes a record of her journey from grasshopper thinking toward giant faith.

For Facilitators

The Rise Together Facilitator’s Guide provides the structure and instructional resources needed to lead women through the five-session experience with intentionality, consistency, and care.

Request Charlotte, author of From Grasshopper to Giant: A Season of Elevation, to facilitate your women’s studies event, allowing participants to experience the study as envisioned by emailing her at charlotte@mcmilliansministries.org. For churches, ministries, or organizations that prefer to lead the series internally, a designated facilitator may do so; however, completion of Rise Together Facilitator Training is required before conducting the sessions. This training equips facilitators to understand the framework, effectively use the instructional resources, guide meaningful discussion and reflection, and preserve the purpose and integrity of the Rise Together experience.

Because Rise Together is designed to create a safe environment for meaningful reflection and potentially vulnerable conversations, facilitators must complete Rise Together Facilitator Training before leading the five-session series.

Facilitator training helps leaders understand not only what to teach, but how to guide the experience while protecting the purpose and integrity of the Rise Together model.
